Kundalini Yoga and Meditation
from Pregnancy and Birth
Kundalini exercises and meditation is a powerful tool to help you to connect in a more profound and conscious way with the little soul developing inside of you. Kundalini yoga can support you physically, emotionally and spiritually during the nine months of pregnancy and beyond.

Pregnancy and birth are probably the greatest moment of transformation in a woman’s life. When a child is born, a mother is born, a father is born, and so a family. When a baby comes into our lives, he touches not only our own existence but also of our family, our friends, our community and ultimately our entire planet. Throughout the journey of a mother, she encounters many opportunities to develop and empower herself, her baby, the relationships with those around her, and especially the relationship with her soul.
Kundalini tradition and the power of the mother
Kundalini honours the importance of the role of the mother, the feminine power, known within the yogic tradition as the Adi Shakti. Adi Shakti is the primordial force or energy. Also, Kundalini is regarded as the Mata Shakti, the primordial power of the Divine Mother. Ultimately, the mother is the channel through which one arrives on planet Earth. Each woman carries the potential to create through love, clarity and purity, whether it refers to the creation of a child in her body, ideas or environment.
It is highly recommended that mothers practise meditation regularly and live in positive and loving environments during pregnancy. Meditation can support you in creating harmony in your environment and within your changeable self. Meditating can also help to clean the karma of the child, make the separation between baby and mother– after the umbilical cord is cut – less traumatic, and like a ripple from a pond, it swells to positively affect the child’s development, enhance the bond and support a more conscious way of living for you and your family.
Our Kundalini class is also a beautiful place to enjoy the company of other inspiring women, to share, to receive support and to celebrate the arrival of new lives in this planet!
